Training FAQs.
How Big are your Class Sizes?
Both training rooms have the facility to hold a maximum of 12 trainees each.
FIC Training has a minimum class requirement of 4 trainees per training course.
Are there Parking Facilities?
Yes, Parking facilities are available at the front of the training centre. Cars and Valuables are left at Owners own risk. Parking facilities are covered by CCTV.
How do I book a Course?
You can book a course by contacting our training team on 01324 274048 or email: enquiries@fictraining.co.uk. The training team will advise what course dates are available and the booking information requirements.
All course fees must be paid in full prior to course commencement
Are Training Courses aimed at Companies only?
No, we are happy to accommodate individuals looking to improve existing skills as well as Companies looking to keep their workforce’s skills current.
Individuals booking courses should have a record of relevant work experience and where possible relevant certification.
Do you carry out training at Company Premises?
No. All training is carried out at FIC Training facilities, as we provide classroom and practical based training. We have both training rooms and Blasting/Painting workshop facilities.
This gives the trainee a more grounded training experience.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
The only thing required is safety Boots for the practical aspect of the course, all other PPE (personal Protective Equipment) will be supplied.
If you do not have safety boots they can be purchased at the start of the course. If safety boots are unavailable you will not be able to take part in the practical aspects of the course
Do I get a Certificate?
A training completion certificate is supplied at the successful completion of the course by FIC Training. A Card is issued by Train the Painter within 2 weeks of Course completion by post. The card combines both the training Certification for the course covered as well as the relevant CSCS Card.
